Introductory Pilates Classes
For new clients that are taking Pilates Equipment classes for the very first time, we recommend you sign up for an Introductory Class with us!
Both Private Introductory Classes and Group Introductory Classes are offered for your convenience.
We would love to have you!
Private & Semi-Private Intro Lessons
Private Intro Lesson
Private lessons are offered to individuals wishing to focus on particular goals, sport specific programs, or special concerns. During your one-on-one instruction, a specialized program will be designed for you by one of our STOTT PILATES certified instructors that will help you achieve your desired outcome.
Duet or Trio Intro Lesson
These are ideal for those who enjoy working out with a friend, family member, or co-worker. A program will be specially designed to meet the goals of each individual in this duo using a variety of Pilates apparatus for a fun and challenging workout.
Group Introductory Pilates Sessions
During a Group Introductory Session, the Instructor will take the class through the STOTT PILATES 5 Basic Principles and teach Essential Pilates exercises on the V2Max Reformer. New clients will build a strong foundation to help them feel successful before moving on to group classes. At this point, the instructor will help each participant find a regularly scheduled group class that is suitable for that individual.
*These classes are scheduled on an occasional basis and based on new client demand. Please contact the studio to inquire!
Group Intro Class
A single Group Intro Class is a great option for those who are already active and do not need any in-depth modifications.
Join one of our All Equipment Group Classes afterwards!
5-Week Group Intro Session
Learn the basics of Reformer Pilates in a multi-week, beginner level class. Throughout the session occasional use of small props, the Stability Chair, Ladder Barrel, Matwork, and Tower may be incorporated.
FAQs

Longer and leaner muscles without adding the bulk
Increased core strength, stability, and peripheral mobility
Enhanced functional fitness and ease of movement
What if there is inclement weather?
It is at the discretion of the studio to determine if the studio should close due to inclement weather and poor road conditions. If the studio closes for morning classes and road conditions improve during the day, the studio may open for evening classes.
Clients signed up for class will receive an email. Inclement weather cancellations will also be posted on our social media, be visible on our Mindbody page, and there will be a message on our voicemail.
Do you offer introductory lessons?
An introductory class is required for any client new to Pilates wishing to join a group class or private lesson. We offer both Private Introductory Lessons and Group Introductory Lessons.
Visit our Services page to find out about our introductory classes, as well as other classes we have to offer!
How many participants are in each class?
We limit class size to 10 participants in our Group Equipment classes in order for each person to receive personalized instruction, modifications, and corrections. Our goal is to provide each client with a safe, effective and efficient Pilates workout.
All Pilates Mat and Yoga classes have a capacity of 20 participants.
What should I wear to my classes?
You should wear comfortable, non-restrictive workout clothing. Pilates is done with bare feet (or socks if you prefer). If you are going to wear socks, we recommend, that they have grippers on the bottom. For safety purposes, we suggest that long hair be pulled back and jewelry is removed.
How long do classes last?
The duration of each class is 50 minutes.
