Intro to Yoga
*This class is scheduled on an occasional basis
Step onto the yoga mat with confidence. Designed for true beginners, this class introduces yoga in slow, approachable segments, focusing on breath, alignment, and movement.
Experience the benefits of yoga, including mind balance and tension release, as you’re guided through short vinyasa flows. You'll learn sun salutations, seated stretches, core work, balances, and backbends.
Each 50-minute class will focus on key elements like hip openers, twists, and transitions, helping you build a solid yoga foundation. Led by Abbey, you'll receive step-by-step instructions to explore poses and understand their language, ensuring a practice tailored to your comfort, strength, and flexibility.
Whether you're new to yoga or seeking to deepen your practice, this series will help you feel confident on your mat. Prepare to move, learn, and maybe even sweat a little as you discover what yoga truly feels like for you.
There is no prerequisite for Pilates Mat or Yoga group classes. Join at any time and the instructor will provide appropriate modifications as needed.
